A long view
over the water.
Waterbridge Contractors of the Carolinas constructed this fixed pier walkway at Hope Pointe on the Intracoastal Waterway in Little River, South Carolina.
Hope Pointe sits across the waterway from Cricket Cove Marina in Little River and adjacent to Tidewater Plantation in North Myrtle Beach.
The deck stretches over the water, with timber railings along both sides. The waterfront view shows the deck and railings up close. From above, the aerial photographs reveal the long span, its turns toward shore and the open water around it.
Waterbridge used the top-down method of pier construction for this project. The pier remains the focus here. The wider aerial view also shows how it sits beside the development site, with roads, ponds and trees farther inland.
If you are comparing waterfront access ideas, look at how the walkway relates to the shore and the water around it. This project gives you a real Little River example to bring into that conversation.
