A covered place to gather
The metal roof shades the seating area. Built-in timber benches keep a place to sit close to the creek, while leaving the deck connected to the walkway.

A shaded place to sit. A walkway out to the boat. Waterbridge built this covered pierhead and connected boat lift for a homeowner on the creek in Murrells Inlet.

From the house to the creek
This residential project brought three parts of the waterfront together: a metal-roof covered pierhead, a fixed pier walkway, and a 20,000-pound boat lift with remote control.
The covered area provides a place to pause before heading onto the water. Timber benches sit beneath the roof, with railings around the deck. Beyond the seating area, the walkway extends toward the lift at the pier’s end.
Waterbridge Contractors of the Carolinas built the project for a homeowner on a creek in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina. The photos show the relationship between the covered space, the walkway, and the boat access.

The fixed walkway links the pierhead to the boat lift. For this project, the lift included remote control and a 20,000-pound capacity.
