The existing shoreline
The work addressed a waterfront wall already in place. Access beside the structure and its relationship to the yard shaped the setting for the repair.
Allen McCall project · Sunset Beach, NC
A repaired wall and a new cap, right where the yard meets the shore. Waterbridge repaired the bulkhead and seawall at Allen McCall’s North Carolina property.

The McCall project
This project focused on an existing bulkhead and seawall in Sunset Beach, NC. Waterbridge Contractors of the Carolinas carried out the repair for Allen McCall and built a new cap.
The work included excavation beside the wall, timber facing repairs, and new boards across the top. The cap gives that top edge a continuous finish. The existing wall sits beside the property’s yard and outdoor space.
Wall repair and cap work belonged in the same conversation. The visible top of a bulkhead is one part of the structure; the wall itself and the adjoining ground also need consideration when discussing a repair.

New boards finished the top of the repaired wall. This combination of wall and cap work is the defining detail of the McCall project.
Considering a similar repair?
Your property may need a different scope. An assessment is the place to discuss what has changed and what you want the work to accomplish.
Tell us whether you have noticed changes in the wall’s alignment, facing, or the ground behind it. Current photos help explain the area you want reviewed.
Show the top of the wall and any adjoining deck, walkway, or yard edge. Discussing those connections helps keep the repair focused on the whole waterfront.
Nearby landscaping and existing structures are useful details when planning how a crew could reach the work around an occupied property.
